Everything functions as it should, with no crackling knobs or potentiometers

Equipped with many input options, including 2x tape monitor, tuner, aux, and a very good phono input. The preamp and power amp sections can be separated from each other via a jumper on the rear panel (pre-out / main-in)

Visually also in very nice condition, with here and there some (refreshed) signs of wear along the edge of the front panel

The anthracite front panel combined with the red LED power VU meters give this Akai a beautiful and distinctive vintage look
