Description from the seller

DR. T. T. TSUI; book plus Chinese jade oval dish,
with reverse cut decoration incorporating the Chinese symbol for double happiness to the centre within a border of scrolls, feathers and lantern, height 2cm, length 13.5cm, width 11.5cm.

Provenance: This was given to the seller's late husband by Dr. T. T. Tsui as a gift from his own collection. The seller's husband, who was the sales director of Leyland Buses, had done many years' business with Dr Tsui. The seller recalls Tsui on the last day of business going into his own private collection, retrieving this bowl and giving it to her husband as a gift. It has been in the seller's ownership since then. Approx 86g.
