A collection of three antique Chinese blue and white Rice Grain (Linglong) porcelain tea cups, dating from the Qing Dynasty and the Republic period. These finely potted cups feature the traditional translucent rice-grain decoration, a celebrated Chinese porcelain technique in which small pierced openings are filled with clear glaze, creating a beautiful effect when held to the light.

The cups are decorated with underglaze blue geometric borders and stylised motifs. Two cups have floral decorations painted to the interior base, while the third features a qilin motif. The cobalt blue is bright and attractive, and the porcelain bodies are thin, elegant and well fired.
