Description from the seller
Goldbuhl Automatic Musical Alarm Clock – Made in Germany – 1950s-1960s – Fully Functional
An extremely spectacular and rare mechanical table clock with a musical automaton function, produced in Germany in the post-war period (1950s-1960s).
Mechanism and Functions: Mechanical mechanism with manual winding. The clock is fully functional – both the clock part and the music kit work, and when the alarm is triggered, the music plays and the figurines (dancers) spin correctly. Note: It has not been tested over a long period of time to verify the exact accuracy of the time or the full autonomy of the springs.
Front control system: Control of the functions is done through the two original front buttons: the right button stops the music by turning, while the left button stops it by pulling.
Dial & Back Details (As per photo): Spectacular original dial with golden musical notes in relief. The brass back cover is completely original, bears the factory stamps "Patent Pending" and "Made in Germany", and all adjustment instructions (Turn Hands, Alarm Set, Wind) are perfectly legible. It retains both large turning keys, matching knobs, resonance grid and fine adjustment lever.
Overall aesthetic condition: In excellent vintage condition and very clean. The black case (vintage TV style) is intact, without cracks, the front glass is clear, and the gold bezel and upper figures are intact
