Important Gien earthenware service, fruit basket / fruit bowl decoration, creation or Marie-Pierre Boitard style.

Very beautiful French vintage set, probably from the 1970s-1980s, with a delicate decoration of fruits, baskets, foliage and blue peas on a cream background. The service is highlighted with fine blue filaments, with a soft, rustic line typical of Marie-Pierre Boitard creations for the Faïencerie de Gien.

The set includes a tureen / covered vegetable dish, a large salad bowl, 4 service platters, trays, sauce boat, small covered pot, 6 cups and 6 saucers, 4 small plates.

Marking on the reverse: Gien France – Marie Pierre Boitard.

Very beautiful decorative effect for a family home table, chic countryside kitchen, French vintage dinnerware or Gien collection.

Very good vintage condition. Some normal signs of use or possible enamel cracks depending on the pieces.
