A genuine 15th–16th century Gothic-style antique table knife from the Netherlands (s'Hertogenbosch) with an iron/steel blade and a finely chiselled crown-shaped handle.

Description
Table knife, executed in Gothic style, with a finely chiseled handle in the shape of a crown. The cutler’s mark is present and punch-engraved in the blade.
Condition
The object has been professionally cleaned with PEG and subsequently conserved with almond oil for stabilization and to prevent further corrosion. In good, original condition with normal aging and wear marks appropriate to the age.
Unique and original medieval knife, authentically excavated in the Netherlands and dated between the 15th and 16th centuries (circa 1350–1550). This type of knife was used daily by citizens, artisans and travelers in the late Middle Ages.
