Description from the seller

Neo-renaissance armchair / Flemish chair in solid oak – Belgium – ca. 1900

Elegant and richly worked armchair in Flemish neo-Renaissance / neo-Baroque style, presumably produced in Belgium around the end of the 19th century or the beginning of the 20th century.

The chair is made of, most likely, solid oak and features beautifully carved armrests, a decorative lower rail with openwork carving and turned connecting spindles. The warm patina and artisanal finish give the piece a characterful and authentic appearance.

Upholstered with decorative gobelin/tapestry fabric with classical floral motifs in rich colors. The upholstery aesthetically complements the historical style of the furniture.

Belgium / Flanders
