- Inscriptions: Obverse: БОРИСЪ III ЦАРЬ НА БЪЛГАРИТЕ, king’s bust facing left, engraver A. BERAN’s signature on the neckline. Reverse: 50 ЛЕВА · 1940, surrounded by a crown of ears, oak leaves and roses tied at the bottom.

Coin of 50 Leva with a mature portrait of King Boris III facing left, in a realistic and sober style, with good facial modeling and finely treated hair. The reverse presents a balanced and detailed botanical composition, combining wheat ears, oak leaves and roses, symbols of prosperity and strength, with the value and date clearly centered. The specimen shows well-preserved reliefs, largely clean fields with light contact marks typical of the grade, and a bright, uniform silver patina that enhances the overall appearance, offering an attractive and solid presence in hand.
