A beautiful, three-piece Italian mimiset (nesting tables) from the 1960s, made in Florence. This is an original vintage quality piece from the higher end of the market, absolutely not modern mass production.
Craftsmanship quality & luxury materials:
Solid Onyx: The tops are made of high-quality, naturally light-colored onyx. The unique, warm veining in the stone makes each table unique.
Cast Brass: The heavy base is made of quality brass with a beautiful, authentic patina. Featuring characteristic, French neoclassical details such as the elegantly fluted (canneled) legs and graceful knobs.
No mass production: As evidence of the small-scale Italian craftsmanship, the underside of the onyx features an original, handwritten model/production number (14020 / 14026). This was done in the ateliers to perfectly match the bespoke-cut tops with the hand-cast frame.
Condition: The set is in absolute vintage top condition. The heavy onyx is fully intact, with no chips, cracks, or deep scratches. The construction is rock-solid and the tables slide smoothly and seamlessly under one another.
