Richard Ginori - Plate (11) - Porcelain

Set of dishes in fine white porcelain, featuring the characteristic fluted shapes of Richard Ginori craftsmanship, embellished with a refined gilding and small semicircular geometric decorations along the edge made in solid gold. The plates made in the first part of the 20th century, 1930s/1940s, are characterized by a straight-edged and gently undulating border that recalls the historic forms of the Doccia tradition with small arches dotted at regular intervals along the rim, giving a classic elegance typical of mid-20th century production. The set includes 11 flat plates measuring about 23 cm. Good condition, normal signs of wear due to age and use of the gold. See photos for conditions and measurements.
