Seating group - Wood, Glass - Chinese tea salon

This dark wood Chinese tea parlor set from the mid-20th century consists of a central low coffee table and four coordinating round stools. The most valuable element is the table top, richly adorned with a three-dimensional carved scene depicting people in traditional attire within a landscape featuring architectures and blooming trees, all framed by a floral border and protected by a removable shaped glass. The entire set is characterized by artisanal fretwork and raised geometric decorations that embellish the edges, stems, and shaped feet of both the table and the seating.
