Description from the seller
Mid-Century Vintage Magazine Rack Trolley
This bar cart / trolley on wheels is a classic piece of 1960s/1970s vintage furniture, featuring a clear Space Age and modernist-inspired aesthetic that perfectly combines functionality and style.
Structure and General Configuration
Main Frame: The entire structure is made of chrome-plated tubular metal. The design is continuous and clean: the side tubes rise fluidly, curving to form two large upper handles, perfect for steering the trolley.
Top Shelf (Tray): A rectangular, double-sided or interchangeable shelf is housed at the top. In IMG_4502.jpeg, it is shown with a mirrored surface, while in IMG_4794_2.jpeg and IMG_4786.jpg, it reveals its vibrant pop soul thanks to a bright orange side.
Magazine Compartment: Below the main shelf, there is a spacious accordion or bellows-style magazine rack system, consisting of three deep compartments made of dark brown faux leather—ideal for organizing catalogs, magazines, or newspapers.
Base and Mobility: The trolley rests on four outwardly curved legs, equipped with vintage swivel casters featuring black and chrome details that ensure smooth mobility.
Condition and Details
Overall Condition: The item is solid, structurally sound, and complete with all its original parts, including the wheels and the removable tray.
Finish and Wear: As highlighted in the macro detail in IMG_4788.jpg, the edge of the orange tray shows some small signs of age, with minor paint chips/oxidation located on the metal profile where it meets the chrome structure. The overall chrome plating still retains a good brightness, showcasing the normal and charming patina of authentic vintage pieces.
Mirrored Surface: The mirror shows slight signs of silvering loss / minor blemishes; please review the detailed photos carefully.
