A defining actor of the theatre and cinema, Armand Meffre acted under the direction of major filmmakers alongside Philippe Noiret, Jean Rochefort, or Gérard Depardieu.
Trained in painting with master André Lhote, he developed a sensitive, luminous, and deeply humane body of work. His canvases, imbued with tenderness and poetry, reveal a profoundly humane gaze, between restrained emotion and sincere simplicity. A complete artist, each painting tells a story and moves one with its authenticity.
