A special and rare wall light, this wall lamp produced by the top brand Glashütte Limburg, consisting of a chrome-plated metal frame with 4 fittings and a functioning on-off pull cord, and with a pressed glass shade that is attached as simply as it is securely to two thin bolts with chrome-plated nuts.

The lamp appears to be intended for placement under a bathroom mirror and can be wired to a wall switch for that purpose, with the pull cord remaining functional or removed.

Due to its elongated shape, other specific applications (horizontal and vertical) are possible.

In very good condition with signs of use, the glass has inevitable minimal edge chips on the inside (unobtrusive when mounted).

Een bijzondere en zeldzame wandlamp, deze door het topmerk Glashütte Limburg geproduceerde wandlamp, bestaande uit een verchroomd metalen frame met 4 fittingen en een werkend aan-uit trekkoordje, en met persglazen kap die even eenvoudig als goed is vastgezet op twee dunne bouten met verchroomde moertjes. 

De lamp lijkt te zijn bedoeld voor plaatsing onder een badkamerspiegel en kan daartoe ook aangesloten worden op een wandschakelaar, met het trekkoordje blijvend functioneel of verwijderd. 

Door de langgerekte vorm zijn specifieke andere toepassingen (horizontaal en verticaal) mogelijk. In zeer goede staat met gebruikssporen, het glas met onvermijdelijke minimale (maar in gemonteerde staat onzichtbare) randchipjes aan de binnenzijde.
