AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Multilayer glass vase, blown, folded, and acid-etched with cameo engraving. In baluster form, the decoration is executed on an opaline background, white satin heavily washed with pale orange or pale ochre with blurred outlines. The decoration is finished with a brown fold; with this last layer a decoration of flowers and stylized branches is created, finished with the wheel. Decoration called “Epinettes.” This decoration might be the first to experiment with an extreme-oriental inspiration in the Le Verre Français line. Signed at the base Le Verre Français. Manufactured at Schneider Glassworks, at its Epinay-sur-Seine factory, for the Le Verre Français line around 1924–1927. It is in perfect condition, noting a small mark at the lower part of the body where it joins the foot, made during manufacture when the wheel was passed over. Height: 29 cm.
