Emil Busch A.G. Rathenow opera glass, Multinett model A 1 8854 d, 2.5× magnification, zinc‑plated brass with mother‑of‑pearl inlays and Bakelite eyecups, tested and functional in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
This antique opera glass is a Busch Multinett D.R.P. from Emil Busch A.G. Rathenow, probably from the period around 1920.
The case is made of galvanized brass with striking iridescent inlays of mother-of-pearl.
Note the alternating shading on the mother-of-pearl.
The eyecups are made of Bakelite.
Only on one there is a barely noticeable chip.
However, this causes no drawback to the function!
The focusing via the central wheel is butter-smooth and easy to operate.
Clear sight — no scratches or fungus.
The body is made of galvanized brass and Bakelite. No patina. Beautiful shine.
