Olympus PEN EE-3 Analogue camera

Olympus PEN EE-3 (designed by Yoshihisa Maitani) Hello from Japan! We provide high-quality cameras and lenses to the world. Introduced in 1973, the Olympus PEN EE-3 was one of the final models in the celebrated PEN half-frame series designed by Yoshihisa Maitani, the engineer behind the original 1959 PEN. As a half-frame camera it records two vertical frames on each standard 35mm exposure, giving 72 shots from a single 36-exposure roll. Exposure is fully automatic, handled by a selenium "Electric Eye" cell that rings the lens, so the camera needs no battery to operate. It is fitted with a fixed-focus D.Zuiko 28mm f/3.5 lens (four elements in three groups), a Copal-X shutter, a center-contact hot shoe, and a Flashmatic system for use with a matching guide-number flash. The base plate is engraved "Made in Japan." Condition: USED - Excellent +5 Pre-owned with minimal signs of use. Serial Number Please check the photo. Appearance Clean overall, with only minor scuffs and scratches from normal use. Please check the photos for details. Optical Condition The lens is clear. The viewfinder is clear. Functional The automatic exposure (selenium Electric Eye) is working. The red-flag exposure warning, which locks the shutter when there is insufficient light, operates correctly. As the meter is selenium-powered, no battery is required. The light seals in the film chamber have been partially replaced. Bundled Items - Olympus PEN EE-3 camera body - Front lens cap (Olympus) Only the items shown in the photos are included. Important Notes for Used Items As this is a used item, subtle imperfections may exist that are not individually described. Shipping We ship via Japan Post (ePacket Light).
