Plate - Porcelain - Kangxi Blue-and-White

Beautiful, vibrant blue-and-white Kangxi plate with a brown dressed rim depicting a plant (bok choi) and flowers (peony) in the centre and more peonies on the rim. The verso shows two abstract decorations. This delicate plate is made of surprisingly thin white porcelain. A previous owner applied a three prong metal clasp to the back of the object (for vertical display) which has left some blemishes in the stand ring. The object has a hairline, one chip and some flea bites (all as pictured), but remains in good overall condition for an object of this age.
