Four-field icon - Wood - 19th century
The halos and the rims are exposed and show the original chalk background (Levkas).
At the top, there is a Mother of God with child of the Hodigitria type and Saint John the Herald (the Baptist).
Including Saint Constantine and Helena with the True Cross of Christ and a healing monk (Wisarion?).
The abbreviations of "saint" (Sveti) suggest a Balkan origin, possibly Serbia.
