Wonderful antique column/pedestal from the Napoleonic III era, carved and finished with rich ornamental motifs in an eclectic and historicist style, inspired by the neoclassical and Renaissance tastes typical of the Napoleonic III period (late 19th century). It features grooved geometric decorations along the shaft, raised moldings, and distinctive decorative figures, the so-called Herms or Caryatids with female likenesses at the top of the structure.
