The B&W DM602 S3 (released around 2002) is rightly regarded as a classic and one of the best performing bookshelf speakers in its class from that era.
The main difference between the B&W DM601 S3 and the DM602 S3 lies in the size of the enclosure and the woofer, which in the DM602 S3 is larger, resulting in a difference in bass response and power. Both speakers belong to the beloved 600-series S3 of Bowers & Wilkins, but target slightly different applications. The Bowers & Wilkins DM602 S3 speakers are for example better suited for medium rooms, and the DM601 S3 for small rooms.
With a sensitivity of 90dB they are relatively easy to drive by most amplifiers.
