“Laura Pinchete is a Madrid-based artist and designer passionate about abstract expressionism and fluid aesthetics. From a young age she felt an affinity for crafts and art, which led her to study Advertising and Public Relations, and later to deepen in design and painting.

Her work is characterized by visual harmony through bold contrasts, through compositions that combine typography, calligraphy and organic strokes. The combination of mixed techniques and her interest in textures allows her to express emotions and implicit narratives without resorting to figurative structures.

Laura uses everyday objects —those ordinary elements that often go unnoticed— and incorporates them into her works as a way of giving them new life and meaning. Her art celebrates the humble, the ordinary and the discarded, reinterpreting them from contemporary aesthetic approaches.
