Silence(XL) presents an emotional landscape suspended between calm and unease. The sunken cabin, isolated in a setting of intense reds and open skies, functions as a symbol of refuge and abandonment at the same time. The contrast between the word “Silence” floating above the scene and the red glow of the “EXIT” introduces a silent tension: the need to escape versus the impossibility of breaking the inner muteness.

The work blends an almost dreamlike atmosphere with a strong expressive charge, where liquid textures and drips suggest memory, wear, and time. Silence here is not absence, but a space of contemplation, uncertainty, and emotional resilience.

Visual artist, educator and curator, graduated from the Leopoldo Romañach Professional School of Plastic Arts (Cuba, 2008). With multidisciplinary training, he stands out as a painter, draughtsman and designer, in addition to having advanced studies in curation.

With more than 15 years of career, he has a track record of over 60 group exhibitions and 8 solo shows. His work has been awarded on numerous occasions in prestigious competitions, highlighting:
Awards at the Marinas Salon and the Martínez Otero-Illa Photography Salon (multiple editions between 2006 and 2021).
