Antique lidded porcelain vessel from Limoges.
Elegant Limoges fine porcelain dating from around 1900.
Small tureen, or jam jar, or mustard pot.
This period piece perfectly illustrates the refinement and craftsmanship of Limoges artisans.
Hand-painted polychrome decoration featuring floral and ornamental motifs, elevated by rich gilded highlights. The lid is crowned by a gilded pinecone-shaped handle, typical of the 1900 style.
In excellent condition, with no cracks or chips, showing only very light signs of aging on the gilding.
