Depiction of the Immaculate Conception with Mary in a prayerful pose and hands folded before the chest. She stands on a globe-shaped base symbolizing the Earth, above a crescent moon. At her feet a snake crawls with a fruit in its mouth, a reference to original sin conquered by Mary. The garment is worked out with deep folds and a contrasting mantle.
Height approx. 65 cm; with polychrome painting, in good condition with slight signs of aging and use including a few small paint wear spots.
