Stylized Madonna with Child according to a design by Trefoloni. Mary holds the Child close to her chest as her head tilts slightly forward. The slim figure and the simplified drapery align with religious sculpture from the interwar period. The Child holds a chalice, a reference to the Eucharist. The work is finished with a dark bronze patina with green-blue oxidation effects that approach the appearance of aged bronze.
Height approx. 53 cm; gypsum with bronze patina, in good condition with light signs of wear.
