The square geometric design combines glossy gold plating with refined cylindrical inserts in burgundy enamel/lacquer, the iconic Maison color also echoed in the large Roman numerals that decorate the bezel. The gold-plated bottom flap folds down perfectly with a snap over the dial, serving both as a protective cover for transport and as a solid resting base.
