Up for auction is a true milestone of international industrial design: the famous 9093 kettle, designed by the celebrated American architect and designer Michael Graves in 1985 for Alessi.
This object represents the perfect intersection between high-end design and Pop culture, becoming over time the best-selling product in the history of the Italian brand and a timeless masterpiece exhibited in the world's most prestigious museums, including the MoMA in New York.
The extraordinary and rare highlight of this specific lot lies in its most famous detail: the bird-shaped whistle, which in this version comes in a stunning and highly refined Total White finish.
