Description from the seller
UNITED STATES. Philadelphia. 1 Dollar. 1886.
- Value: 1 Dollar.
- Year: 1886.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: E PLURIBUS UNUM · LIBERTY · 1886. Reverse: UNITED STATES OF AMERICA · IN GOD WE TRUST · ONE DOLLAR.
- Grading: MS63 (PCGS).
Morgan Silver Dollar coin with Liberty’s bust facing left, wearing a Phrygian cap adorned with cotton leaves and ears of wheat, in a naturalistic style with well-defined relief characteristic of George T. Morgan’s design. The reverse shows a heraldic eagle with wings spread, grasping arrows and an olive branch, surrounded by an open vegetal crown and national legends. It presents excellent original luster with bright fields and silvery reflections, while the eagle’s plumage and the curls in the hair retain notable sharpness. An attractive specimen, representative of the abundant Philadelphia issues in the context of the Bland-Allison Act and the intense minting of silver dollars in the late 19th century.
Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to leave absolutely clear that I do ship from Spain, which means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside EU that has special tax agreement (example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and it is completely out of our control. Thanks for your understanding.
