The ultimate collector's highlight: The original Steiff metal button (lens button) is perfectly preserved directly in the felt sole of the foot! Because the ears on this tiny version are made from fine, flat felt, Steiff placed the identification button in the foot at the factory. Material: Premium dark brown mohair plush. The face, ears, hands, and feet are intricately crafted from light brown felt.
Eyes: Original black bead eyes.
Condition: Excellent, clean vintage condition. The mohair fur is wonderfully dense with no bald spots. The felt parts are completely intact, all seams are firmly stitched. The button in the foot is firmly attached and undamaged.
