The DH1 and DH2 (better known as the Wadloper) are diesel-hydraulic motor cars and multiple units, built between 1981 and 1983 by Waggonfabrik Uerdingen AG for the Northern Branch Lines in Groningen and Friesland. The Wadloper series consisted of 19 motor cars (DH1) and 31 two-part railcars (DH2).
This edition concerns motor car 3119 after a major refurbishment. The name “Wadloper” remained unchanged. Around the windscreen there is a gray panel and on the cab there is a large air-conditioning unit installed for the driver. The trains are also equipped with a yellow track sweeper. The small blue diagonal blocks around the front signals have been removed in this case. The interior has also been completely redesigned and fitted with new comfortable blue seats. These railcars are equipped with ATB NG and ready for the future.
All digital models are equipped with ESU decoders. The models have a metal frame and the motor is placed out of sight (with a double flywheel) and located in the center with a double Cardan drive. The models include interior detailing; depending on the release period of the model, this varies. Various details on the model are loose-assembled plastic and etched parts. The technology in the models is designed by YaMoRC. The PCB is equipped with a Plux22 decoder socket. Power pickup on all axles. The models are equipped with working front and rear signals which automatically change with the direction of travel. It is also possible to display a shunting signal and, in double traction, the signals can be switched off (in digital operation). All models are suitable for a minimum radius of 360 mm (R2). Furthermore, the models feature cab and interior lighting, both of which are individually switchable. Moreover, all models are equipped with working brake test lights (in digital use).
