Magnificent original travel trunk, dated approximately between the late 19th century and the early 20th century, with authentic charm and strong decorative presence.
Made from solid wood with metal reinforcements, it features an elegant domed lid typical of travel trunks of the era, designed for greater durability and practicality during long journeys.
On the top stand out the initials “M.O.Z.”, made with metal studs, probably corresponding to its former owner, which adds a unique historical character to the piece.
The interior preserves its original textile lining, with a beautiful decorative pattern, uncommon in pieces of this age. It also retains its original lock (no key), as well as thousands of hardware pieces and the structure in intact condition.
Signs of use and aging are evident (see photographs), which is consistent with its age and adds an appealing patina.
