Description from the seller
Forest Clearing
Unique Work
In Forest Clearing, Ella Suárez explores the landscape as a space of openness within the dense vegetation. The work is built from a succession of organic planes that frame a central zone of light, transforming the forest into a visual structure where the gaze moves through layers of vegetation, water, and distance.
The composition is organized by the contrast between the vertical trunks in the foreground and the undulating forms of the landscape. The trees function as a natural architecture that delineates the space and guides perception toward the illuminated clearing that emerges at the center of the scene. This opening acts as a meeting point between depth, light, and contemplation.
Color plays a fundamental role in shaping the atmosphere. The dominant greens create a sense of refuge and continuity, while zones of yellow light and red accents introduce focal points of intensity that energize the composition. The relation between warm and cool colors creates a visual vibration that suggests the constant dynamism of nature.
The work offers a slow, contemplative viewing experience, where the landscape reveals itself gradually. Water, hills, and vegetation do not appear as isolated elements, but as parts of an interconnected system in which each form participates in a single structure of balance and transformation.
In Forest Clearing, nature presents itself as a space of transit between shadow and light, between the hidden and the visible. The landscape ceases to be understood as an exterior view to become an experience of discovery, inviting the viewer to venture into a territory where contemplation and perception occupy the center of the visual experience.
