Beaulieu R16 Movie camera

Here is a Beaulieu R16 16 mm cinema camera of French manufacture. In excellent condition, it looks nearly new and all of its functions are fully operational. This is a motorized version. It allows shooting speeds from 2 to 64 frames per second, switchable between 24 and 25 frames per second (FSB) for standard cinematic speeds, enabling slow motion, time-lapses and other special effects.

It is equipped with a reflex viewfinder, an interchangeable C-mount and is compatible with 3-inch focus rings and zoom lenses. It also includes a Gossen light meter for semi-automatic exposure measurement.

It is powered by an integrated handle battery or an external power source. It can hold 30- or 60-meter film magazines; a 60-meter magazine provides 5 minutes of continuous shooting. The battery should, however, be replaced for normal operation. It is supplied with an Angenieux Zoom 17-68mm f/2.2 lens, in excellent condition, functioning perfectly and with a very clear and well-coated glass.
