vintage Sony audio system from the early 70s composed of two stacked modules:
LOWER
The Sony TA-1130 is an iconic top-of-the-line stereo integrated amplifier introduced in 1972, a celebrated pillar of Sony's historic ES series.
This solid-state model stands out for its exceptional build quality, solid aluminum knobs and an advanced circuit with no output coupling capacitors.
Main Technical Features
Output power: 50 Watts RMS per channel into 8 Ohms (real and conservative power).
Frequency response: From 10 Hz to 200 kHz (extremely wide).
Total Harmonic Distortion (THD): Less than 0.05%. Damping factor: 100 at 8 Ohms (ensures excellent bass control).
Weight: About 13 kg.
Connectivity and Functions
Dual Phono input: Perfect for those using two turntables.
Multiple inputs: Includes 3 AUX, Tuner and Tape inputs.
Pre/Power separation: Via a rear switch (Normal/Separate) it can be used either as a preamplifier or as a power amplifier.
Advanced tone controls: Stepped bass and treble selectors with adjustable cutoffs.
