Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Description from the seller
round tray / service plate (also excellent as a substantial bottle coaster or cheese/liquor plateau).
The decoration: The metallic surface is beautifully worked with a geometric concentric guilloché incision, interrupted in the center by a smooth medallion (historically reserved for engraving numbers or noble crests) and finished on the edge with concentric circular moldings.
The base: The back is lined with stained wood equipped with four semispherical non-slip/scratch-resistant feet. This technical feature (very common in high-end service trays of the 20th century) serves to give stability to the object, protect delicate table surfaces, and prevent the metal from denting or scratching on the bottom.
Analysis of the Punches (Trademark marks)
The linear stamp printed on the edge is very clear and allows perfect contextualization of the production era (we are in the second half of the 20th century, roughly between the 1970s and early 1980s):
1 The Central Mark: The clear inscription "CHRISTOFLE FRANCE"
