Veca - Hanging lamp - Murano glass

Magnificent 1970s modernist pendant light, attributed to the famous Italian publishing house VECA. An emblematic classic of Space Age and Mid-Century Modern design.
This fixture is distinguished by its elegant geometric architecture and the superb quality of its materials. It consists of a central metal structure fully chrome-plated from which originate 3 horizontal arms, each housing a double lighting system (one bulb upward, one downward), i.e., 6 light points in total (E14).
The light is beautifully diffracted by 6 beveled glass plates tinted smoky gray (Murano), thick and heavy, characteristic of the Italian craftsmanship of that era. The plates are securely fixed by original chrome hex nuts.
