The Studiophile AV 30 monitors have built-in amplifiers and accept a line-level signal directly from various sources.

3-inch woofer with a curved cone and magnetically shielded
3/4-inch tweeter with natural silk dome and magnetically shielded
bass-reflex-type cabinet with rear-firing port
unbalanced inputs with RCA connectors
auxiliary input with a 1/8” jack
"bass-boost" switch for optimized frequency response
power on/off switch
speaker output (the active electronics are contained in one of the two speakers)
