Description from the seller

Scent bottles in the shape of an internally hollow fish on a chain, possibly silver (without a hallmark), with small red stones as eyes. According to AI, such fish served as scent or spice containers and were produced in the 18th and 19th centuries in Scandinavia and Russia.

The hollow space is divided into a small compartment behind a flap in the front head region and a larger compartment that fills the rest of the body. The rear half of the fish is movable.

Very well preserved with slight signs of wear.
