Description from the seller
Pendant lamp "Spoutnik Pop" – Massive (Icon of the 1970s)
Iconographic Description
This five-light pendant is a perfect synthesis of Pop Art design and the fascination with space conquest during the Space Age of the 1970s, produced by the renowned Belgian manufacturer Massive. Its “molecular” cluster aesthetic, with opal globes radiating asymmetrically around the bright orange lacquered central axis, is directly inspired by the imagery of Sputnik satellites and atomic structures, creating a luminaire that is playful, graphic, and futuristic.
