Bowl - Porcelain - Covered bowl

A superb Kangxi porcelain bowl and its cover, measuring circa 14,8cm in diameter and weighing 425g, finely painted in underglaze blue to depict an interior décor of two ladies in garden landscape with a bird flying overhead, the outside decorated with flowers in eight cartouches beneath a rim of flowers and insects, within another diaper rim.

Condition: Chip and ensuing hairline, lid repaired and small piece missing, see pictures. Chip to the inside of the foot rim.

This lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered and insured mail.
