Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
A rare Victorian silver-plated spout jug from the United Kingdom, dating to 1850–1900, weighing about 3.4 kg, 44 cm high and 27 cm wide in the base, richly decorated with patterns and acanthus leaves, copper interior and marked Sheffield with a number, in good used condition with minor signs of age.
Description from the seller
Rare Victorian nickel-silver spout jug. It was used for pouring water, coffee, or tea. It is of thick, heavy quality, hence it weighs almost 3.5 kg. Around it, richly decorated with patterns and acanthus leaves. The spout is made of copper and still closes perfectly after more than 150 years. The right front foot has a dent, otherwise in very good condition. On the underside marked: Sheffield with a number.
This lot has been carefully cleaned and will be carefully packed, sent by registered mail and insured (with a Track & Trace code so you can track the shipment). Pickup in (Ridderkerk, South Holland) is also possible. I have tasty hand-ground coffee.
