Description from the seller
Illuminated vintage advertising sign for the Superpila brand.
Tabletop or wall-mounted sign, backlit and made of plastic with a metal frame.
Company: In the 1930s the famous advertising billboards designed by the Turin-born illustrator and painter Mario Gros with the famous red spiral, conceived and realized by the Bulgarian painter and graphic designer Nicolay Diulgheroff, became iconic.
L'amaro Cora appeared in some Carosello spots, in which actors Gaia Germani and Giulio Bosetti portrayed a couple who, at the end of each quarrel, make peace by drinking L’Amaro Cora, with the song "Amorevole" in the background, performed by the Apulian singer and actor Nicola Arigliano but with the first word changed to "Amarevole", their advertising slogan of the era.
Vintage luminous sign for L’Amaro Cora dating from the 1960s. The graphic reproduces an era advertising campaign with the famous slogan "gira, gira incontriamoci".
It is a collectible item, valued for its historical significance in the Italian advertising sector.
