Painting of Flemish influence executed in the first half of the 1800s, an unusual subject, as the artist depicted the figure of the Miser, symbolizing a human vice. The work is still on its original canvas, has undergone some minor color loss, as highlighted by photos of the back. It is presented with an oak frame, which is included as a gift with the purchase of the work. The canvas measures 56 x 68 cm.
