This Ortofon cartridge, thanks to its high output voltage, reads the signal codes of vinyl records particularly precisely, and delivers an unsurpassed superb sound quality!
Inspired by the advanced technology and the great success of the RONDO series, the Ortofon designers specified and designed the NEW MM series 2M. Distinctive and captivating, the modern design convinces with straight lines and the essential structural elements important for alignment.
The very important function of the magnetic assembly has been further improved to prevent unnecessary interference from eddy currents, which substantially reduces the subliminal background noise. At the same time, the new 2M series provides a higher output voltage for easy compatibility with different phono stages.
As an absolute priority of the new Ortofon technology, naturalness comes first.
The 2M Red impresses with clear transparency, fine silky highs with deep, contoured bass and a very pleasant fundamental warmth.
