Fully identical monogram and the style of the work give us all criteria to attribute it to the hand of renowed French marine painter Eugene Isabey (1803 Paris - 1886 Montevrain ). Inscription: signed with famous artist's monogram L.J. For type of monogram see artprice.de- signaturen, monogramme Technique: oil on wood, painted in oval, original period gilt frame.
