Two original, official catalogues in good condition, covering Lancia Ardea and Fiat 500 Topolino (models 500 and Ardea Lancia), from 1940 and 1948.
Description from the seller
Rare Elite Workshop Manual Catalog - Lancia Ardea Spare Parts Catalog (1940) & Fiat 500 "Topolino" (1948)
Exceptional and extremely rare documentary duo of a strictly technical nature, entirely dedicated to engineering, consultation, and maintenance of the two great icons of Italian vintage automotive history. An unmissable opportunity for professional restorers, historic workshops, automobile museums, and collectors of elite Automobilia.
The bundle collects the two important official original volumes of the period, rich with hundreds of cross-sections and precisely rendered mechanical drawings.
1. THE MUSEUM PIECE: LANCIA ARDEA SPARE PARTS CATALOG - FIRST EDITION (1950 YEAR) Extremely rare pre-war official publication printed at the start of production of the famous and innovative Lancia sedan. A monumental workshop manual, lavishly filled with detailed technical drawings of every single mechanical, electrical, and body component. An absolute rarity piece, hardly available on the market in the original 1940 first edition.
Page size: 21x15 cm
2. FIAT 500 "TOPOLINO" SPARE PARTS CATALOG (DECEMBER 1948 - No. 03148)
Official Fiat manual printed in the immediate post-war period in a limited edition of only 3,000 copies. The volume is entirely focused on cross-sections, exploded views, and the official nomenclature of replacement parts for the legendary B and C versions of the "Topolino", a cornerstone of Italian motoring. Page size: 21x15 cm
CONDITIONS OF CONSERVATION (Transparency Note)
The two volumes are strictly original to the period. Being authentic workshop manuals that have lived through Italian history (over 75/85 years old), they present themselves in the genuine vintage conditions accurately documented in the photographic gallery (Lot sold "as seen"). The paper shows the usual noble signs of time, traces of environmental humidity from storage, and the classic "patina of experience" from a workshop (possible minor foxing or yellowing), which do not compromise in any way the compactness of the catalogs or the clear legibility of all technical drawings and exploded views."
