Norwegian sterling silver (925) and enamel souvenir spoon depicting a Royal Guard in ceremonial dress, circa 1965–1985, about 12.5 cm long with a 3.5 cm bowl, hallmarked 925S and EJB with the inscription MONSTER BESKYTTET, in good condition.

Norway – Sterling Silver (925) & Enamel Royal Guard Souvenir Spoon – c. 1965–1985
Beautiful Norwegian sterling silver souvenir spoon featuring a finely detailed representation of a Royal Guard (Hans Majestet Kongens Garde) in traditional ceremonial uniform. The figure is decorated with vibrant coloured enamel depicting the characteristic red tunic, light blue trousers and iconic black bearskin hat.
The reverse is clearly hallmarked 925S, confirming sterling silver, together with the maker's mark EJB and the inscription "MONSTER BESKYTTET", Norwegian for "Design Protected", indicating the registered design of the model.
Souvenir spoons of this quality became popular in Norway during the second half of the 20th century and are appreciated today for their combination of Scandinavian silver craftsmanship and colourful enamel work.
