MLP 135 panoramic rare prototype camera, 35 mm film, M39 mount, serial number Prototipo, dating from 1970–1980, tested and working, physical condition very good.
Description from the seller
Panoramic Device MLP 135, created by craftsman Lino Muccin of Pordenone. A former employee of the Gatto industries of Pordenone, famous for the Sonne device, in retirement he enjoyed designing and building several photographic devices, including Vestacrom, a 35mm camera conceived as a true “Italian Leica.” The project aimed at a more efficient construction: very similar to Sonne C4, which, however, stayed at the prototyping stage, and to the panoramic MLP 135 and MPL 120. These devices also remained at the prototype stage, perhaps only a few units of each type.
The presented device is the last remaining in the province of Pordenone and therefore of exceptional rarity.
MLP 135 takes a panoramic photo of 220 on a frame of 24x180 mm.
Weight: 2.050 kg. - dimensions: 24x14x12 cm.
Careful and tracked shipping with an international courier.
"The Muccin Panoramic MLP 135 is today a very rare prototype, an object of great interest for historians and collectors of Italian photographic technology. Its limited artisanal production and the lack of commercialization contribute to endowing it with an aura of a 'legendary' object for enthusiasts of panoramic cameras."
"The Muccin MLP fully deserves a place among the small group of independent Italian photographic inventions, a symbol of an era in which even individual enthusiasts were able to conceive and build state-of-the-art equipment, while often remaining on the fringes of the market. A unique piece that tells the story of passion, ingenuity, and perseverance in Italian fine photography." (from the web)
