Beautiful and choreographic terracotta sculpture in 1930s–40s Art Deco style, depicting a large and magnificent snail. The sculpture features a splendid patina of age, clearly visible in the photo. This decorative academic study is highly evocative, of excellent craftsmanship, and with good proportions. The sculpture originates from Tuscany. A restoration by gluing, at the terminal part of this marvelous snail, is noted, perfectly executed and visible only in enlarged, close-up photos.
